Ever long for the comforts of home? Ever wish you could just settle in to what’s familiar and easy, without having to take risks and step into the unknown? Pastor Randy Norris encourages us to look at the faith of Abraham and be inspired to follow God–no matter where, when or why He leads. The fruit is out on the limb, and we can trust our God to never let us down when we step out in bold faith in His promises.
As Christians we often think of Jesus as a great escape clause, which we can put into play when we get into trouble. And we look at our troubles as something terrible to be avoided at all cost. But as Pastor Randy Norris explains, sometimes God allows us out into storms and difficult situations to challenge our faith and show us His faithfulness. As Randy says so well, “The disciples didn’t need Jesus to just be the Master of the sea; they needed Him to be Master of their souls.”

In this powerful message, Pastor Randy Norris helps us feel the disappointment and longing that Jesus feels when we fall away from our devotion to Him. At one point toward the end of this message, Randy actually runs outside and bangs on the windows and doors at the back of the church, begging to come in, much like Jesus might be doing at the doors of many hearts and churches.
