Like seeds in an apple, each one of us as Jesus’ disciples have the potential to reach many people for him and train up leaders in God’s Kingdom for years to come. In this insightful message, Dr. Randy Norris encourages us to plants seeds everywhere we go, and expect God for an amazing harvest.
Ultimately God sees this world we live in as a world without his Son and therefore without hope. He sent his Son into this world, but it rejected him–even crucified him. Pastor Randy Norris reminds us that we as his followers should look around us everyday and realize that our neighbors, colleagues and schoolmates will go to hell, rather than heaven, if we don’t share the good news of Christ with them.
Today’s message was part of one of the most memorable and life-changing days to date at The Station. Dr. Randy Norris challenges all Christians to quit just talking about missions and be a missionary. In Randy’s words, “Location doesn’t make you a missionary. Being on mission makes you a missionary.” As a result of how God moved through this service and Pastor Randy’s sermon, over 40 people committed themselves to missions, and at least 2 people trusted Christ as their Savior.

To celebrate the beginning a new year and a new decade, Dr. Randy Norris kicks off a new message series called “God of This City.” Each of these messages will challenge Christians to become more than simply “churchmen” but rather servants of a great and mighty God. God is moving in our community. He is changing lives in and around Birmingham and beyond. God loves this world and he wants his people to shine for him in it. The question is whether you and I will get on board and let this train pass us by.
