Thinking Right about Heavenly Rewards

Rewards await God’s children, and God wants to praise us for our work on earth. If these statements take you off guard and make you feel a bit uncomfortable or defensive, then you need to listen to this message by Dwayne Moore. Dwayne contends that we should strive to receive rewards in heaven, not for our sake, but for our Lord’s. Jesus both desires and deserves to be able to give them to us. This message is based on teaching from Dwayne’s new book he is writing called Heaven’s Praise: Hearing Him Say Well Done.

Giving Thanks for God’s Faithfulness

It has been said that the main thing which separates humans from animals is our ability to be thankful. In this stirring message, Pastor Randy Norris reminds us in no uncertain terms how we should always have a thankful heart. He challenges us to count our many blessings and see they are from God — and only God. His 2nd grade daughter, Abby, stole everyone’s heart and galvanized his message of thankfulness when she sang a song about blessings in the middle of the sermon. The message ends with a rousing time of loud praise and thanks-singing.

What Is God Up To?

In this message, Pastor Randy Norris explores 1 Peter 2 and our role as missionaries and ambassadors for Christ. Randy leaves no room for doubt that we are to proclaim God’s praise to a world that is hurting and dying without hope and life. The word, proclaim, literally means that if we don’t, no one will. What is God up to? Whatever it is, it will happen through His children and His church.

The Invisible Commandment

It seems that the more we are told we can’t have something, the more we want it. According to Pastor Randy Norris, we live in a society that wants to take more than we do to give. “It’s all about me,” is our cultural mantra. In this final commandment, God drives home how important it is to Him that we not break this commandment, because it deals directly with our hearts and minds.

Honoring Others Is Honoring God

At The Church at Ross Station, one of our most important goals is to create a culture of honor — honor toward God by honoring other people. In this installment of the continuing series, First and Ten, Pastor Randy Norris explains how the horizontal commandments regarding our relationships are vitally important in our worship and devotion to our Lord. God so loved the world — and He expects us to do the same…
