The Lord’s Supper, also known as Holy Communion, is a vital ordinance of the Church. As we remember the Lord’s death by drinking from the cup and eating of the bread, we must be sure we are spiritually correct before God. Pastor Randy Norris reminds us in no certain terms that our excuses won’t hold water before a holy God. God’s Son died so we could be forgiven, not so we could play games at the foot of his cross.
As Pastor Randy Norris says in this powerful message, “God tests us not to teach us a thing or two, but because He has already taught us a thing or two.” Randy also explains the differences in temptations and trials and how we can prepare and endure each one.
In this final message in the 8-part Driven message series, Pastor Randy Norris explains what it takes to finish this life well. One cannot say he won the race unless he crosses the finish line, and in auto-racing at least, the checkered flag is the one flag every driver dreams of seeing at the end of his race. In life, as Randy tells us, we too can see the checkered flag as our Savior welcomes us home.
