How To Survive a Crash

DRIVEN LOGO4.jpgMost of us don’t think much about the bad things that might happen any time we climb into the comfortable seats of our vehicles. We give little thought to the very real possibility of having an accident along our journey. The same is true in the other areas of our lives. So when a “crash” does occur, whether it be in our family or with our health or finances, Pastor Randy Norris explains how ill-prepared many people are during those devastating times. In this powerful message, Randy shows us some safety belts and airbags to help protect us in the scary moments of life.

Vision and Priorities for TCARS in Year 3

This past Sunday, September 21, 2008, marked our 2nd anniversary of The Church at Ross Station. It was an amazing day with well over 200 people in attendance, most of which were our members and regular attenders! God has certainly blessed our church with numerical growth over the past 2 years, and, as Pastor Randy Norris shares in this message, we have also seen tremendous spiritual growth among our members. Randy lays out a clear and exciting vision for the coming year, and he gives us three anchoring principles that we must stay focused on as we continue to build the (big K) Kingdom of God on this earth.

Flats and Frustrations

DRIVEN LOGO3.jpgEddie Murphy has been quoted saying, “Life ain’t perfect for nobody.” How true that is! We all have days, week, even months of challenges and frustrations and failures. This week, Pastor Randy Norris gives two powerful examples of people who understand struggles. The apostle Paul had a “thorn in the flesh” that would not go away. And Dale Earnhardt took 20 tries to finally win the Daytona 500! These men both came out on the other side of their difficulties with wins! Randy says so can we, and then he kindly tells us how!

Teammates

DRIVEN LOGO2.jpgHow important are other people to our personal happiness and well-being? How much success in business can we achieve without the help of others? Why do we needs friends and family around us and supporting us? These are the questions Pastor Randy Norris considers in this continuing message series that draws methaphors from the racing world. Every great race car driver has a great pit crew and team behind the scenes. So it is with each of us in our lives. We need each other. We need teammates. Randy teaches us how to find and keep teammates–for life.

Shifting Gears

DRIVEN LOGO1.jpgAgain using his racing metaphor in his Driven series, Pastor Randy Norris shows us the importance of forgetting our past and moving on. As he explains, sometimes life requires that we “shift gears” along the way. Like the Apostle Paul, we should set our goals on the road ahead–a future that is bright with hope and challenges. Looking back will only bring us danger ahead.
